Announcements for September 17-18, 2022                 25th Sunday in OT 

  1. Our Food Pantry, Cor Jesu, needs Black beans, green beans and fruit in a can this week. Grocery store gift cards are great for perishable items. Thank you for your donations! 
  2. OCA Update: 2022 goal of $122,960 has now reached $121,212 which is 98% of the goal. Balance is $1748. Thank you for your donations. 
  3. Altar Servers Training will be held after the 11:30 Mass this Sunday. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server, you need to attend both training sessions. If you are a current Altar Server and feel you need additional training, please attend either or both sessions. 
  4. Fr. Chris’ Theological Session: The next theological session will be held this coming Monday, September 19th at 6:30pm in the church. Topic is: “The mystery of the suffering of the Blessed Virgin Mary”. 
  5. Bereavement – Grief Group. Correction from the bulletin: Meeting is every Thursday at 4:30pm in Avila Hall. 
  6. Confirmation for our students will be Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the 5:00pm Mass with Bishop Noonan as presider. Fr. Chris and Fr. Gabriel will concelebrate. 
  7. WE ARE BACK ! a few shuffles of the Date but…Breakfast Buffet will take place SUNDAY September 25th in the Parish Center from 8:30am - 12:30pm. Suggested donation are: Adults $12 Children $6 (ages 5-12) We will be serving: Omelets made to order from our Awesome Omelet Team, Waffles from the Griddle Master himself, as well as Sausage, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy! 
  8. There will be a meeting for all who serve in the Readers Ministry on Tuesday, September 27th at 6pm in the Church. 
  9. The Blue Army is once again hosting the Pasta Dinner following the 5pm Mass on the 1st Saturday of every month. Please come and enjoy a delicious meal with family friends. Our next event will be Saturday, October 1st. Suggested donations is $10, children under 12 eat free. 
  10. Come Join us after each Mass this Sunday for Sweet Treats, Coffee and Juice in the Parish Center. Spend some time with family and Friends!
