Announcements for Oct. Nov. 9-10, 2019             32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. Our Food Pantry, Cor Jesu, is in need of boxed potatoes, pineapple, yams and stuffing. They also need $10 gift cards to grocery stores for Thanksgiving turkeys. Thank you for the donations you bring in each week.
  2. Please visit our School website at www.stteresa-titusville.org for information regarding St. Teresa Catholic School.
  3. Please bring filled baby bottles to the Gift Shop or the Church Office. Please bring in the baby bottles with coins or checks for BETA as soon as possible.
  4. The 8th Graders will be doing a fundraiser this weekend, Nov. 9/10 by selling chocolate bars outside after the Masses. The money raised goes to cover the 8th grade end of the year Disney trip.
  5. Fr. Chris’ next Theological Session will take place next Monday, November 18th. His topic will be “Catholic Teaching about Purgatory.”
  6. The Gift Shop now has out all the Advent wreaths, Advent calendars for children and Advent candles. Please come in and shop before we change to ONLY Christmas items on November 21st.
  7. St. Teresa’s will be having a Ministry Fair after all the Masses on the weekend of November 23-24 in the Parish Center. Plan to come and see what we have to offer for involvement in St. Teresa’s Church.
  8. The Daughters of Mary will pray the Rosary and share snacks on Monday, December 2nd in Avila Hall.
  9. The All Souls Day envelopes are on the tables in the back of the Church. Kindly return them in a timely manner so they can be put on the Altar for the whole month of November.
  10. The Knights of Columbus have put out a box on the table in the back of the Church for you to recommend a “Family of the Month.” Submission forms are also on the table by the box. Our Lady of Space Council will review and consider your suggestions. Thank you for your help in choosing a deserving family, couple or individual.
  11. If you did not receive a packet in the mail of the Offertory Enhancement Initiative, there are extra packets in the back of the Church.
  12. If you have not filled out your Offertory Enhancement Initiative envelope please do so as soon as possible, indicating how much your new contribution will be, not how much you are increasing it by.
  13. Plan ahead to attend our annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 8th at 4:30 PM.  There will be a free will offertory collection to help defray the cost of the bus to Disney. After the concert we will have a pot-luck dinner in the Parish Center to celebrate Fr. Chris’ 60th birthday! Please join us in this milestone celebration and plan to bring a dish to share to the Parish Center before the concert.
  14. Donuts, muffins, bagels and coffee are available in the Parish Center after Mass on Sundays. Enjoy some time socializing with family and friends.
