Announcements for Aug. 31- Sept 1   22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. Our Food Pantry, Cor Jesu, needs granola bars, soup and beans.
    Food gift cards are great for milk, bread or fruit. Thank you for your 
    generosity
  2. The Gift Shop is selling “The Word Among Us” books for $2. Supply is 
    limited.
  3. Next Wednesday-Thursday, September 4th and 5th there will be no 
    7:00am Morning Masses. There is an 8:00am Morning Prayer followed 
    by Mass at 8:30am concelebrated by Fr. Chris and Fr. Mark on both 
    these days. On Thursday after the 8:30am Mass there will be no 
    Adoration.
  4. There is Adoration this coming Friday this coming week since it’s the 
    first Friday of the month. Saturday, September 7th, we will pray the 
    Rosary after the 8:30am Mass.
  5.  Religious Education (CCD) Students begin classes this Wednesday, 
    September 4th at 6pm in St. Teresa School. Contact Faith Formation 
    Office for more information.
  6. First Reconciliation Parent Meeting. Second Grade Parents of St. 
    Teresa School and Religious Education (CCD) students will have an 
    informational meeting on our First Reconciliation Program Thursday, 
    September 5th at 6:00pm in Avila Hall.
  7. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our faith or just 
    looking to learn more about the Catholic Faith, have them contact the 
    Faith Formation office or join us for our first RCIA Meeting 
    September 8th in Avila Hall.
  8. Fatima Sunday is next Sunday, September 8th. Please join us at 3 
    pm for an Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Anointing of the 
    Sick, Holy Rosary, and Marian Hymns

  10. 2024 Confirmation Retreat and Rehearsal will be held Saturday Sep 
    14, 2024, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm in Avila Hall. Confirmation will be 
    Saturday September 21, 2024 at the 5pm Mass.
  11. Father Chris continues his healing journey with physical therapy and 
    is doing well. Please continue to pray for his full recovery
