Carole Shalala, a parishioner, was recently nominated by St. Teresa School for the Titusville Community Service Award. That honor was bestowed on Carole at a special ceremony on June 14th. She was honored for dedication to the community for her service, spirit and unity within the Titusville community. She was presented with a plaque of appreciation for her dedication in her work at the Cor Jesu Food Pantry.

Carole accepted the award with the following statement of thanks: “Recently the School nominated me for the 2017 Community Service Award, which we won. It has been my pleasure to serve the people of Titusville, with the endless help from my volunteers, and the generosity from the people of our Church. Hear-felt thanks to the School, and ALL! It takes a village”!

Thanks to all for your weekly donations of food and cash!
