Father's Day is here once again. This is a time for all fathers to reflect upon their duties as responsible men. Our nation is in urgent need that all fathers be true and loving men who will give themselves unconditionally until the day the heavenly Father calls them to their eternal reward Real fathers are real men. As Christian disciples on this Father's Day, we recommit ourselves to support fathers in their most important vocation. Fatherhood today is not easy. It probably never has been easy, but it seems to be getting more difficult in recent decades. We resolve to pray for fathers, be their spiritual or natural fathers, who have made vows of constancy to the Almighty Father. We choose to journey with those fathers who are still trying to find their way in their vocation as fathers. They need the support of the parish communities in order for them to be the type of man that God is calling them to be.

May God help us in this noble task!
