World Youth Day will take place in Poland in July of 2016. Our Diocese is planning on going with 2 buses for 80 - 100 pilgrims. Our target is 18 years or older. Youth ages 16 -18 must be accompanied by a parent. We would also visit Warsaw, the Shrine of Maximilian Kolbe, Our Lady of Czestochowa, Auschwitz, follow in the footsteps of St. John Paul II and visit his birthplace, visit Krakow and Zakopane. Pope Francis will be at World Youth Day from July 26-29. You must pay your own way. Price is pending. Please discuss, decide and plan for a group from the parish to join with the dioceses. Fr. Chris has been asked by the Bishop to be the Spiritual Consultant for the trip. When Fr. Chris gets back from vacation he will have a planning meeting for all those interested, so start saving your money now..This trip is just 2 years away.
