Mass or Event Times
7:30am, 9:30am and 11:30am
Description
The solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated today. The Feast commemorates Mary's death and her bodily assumption into Heaven before her body could begin to decay—a foretaste of our own bodily resurrection at the end of time. Because it signifies the Blessed Virgin's passing into eternal life, it is the most important of all Marian feasts.
We will celebrate Mass on August 14 at 7:00 p.m. and August 15 at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. (School Mass), and 11:30 a.m.
